Dear CEESA Community,
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I write to you today as the incoming Executive Director of the Central and Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA). I am honored to have the opportunity to serve such a vibrant and professional region and to have the chance to support our students, teachers, and administrators as we all head into a dynamic era in education.
Having previously been a part of the CEESA family as the Director of the International School of Krakow, I am thrilled to return to a region that I deeply respect and admire. The professionalism, passion, and ambition of the CEESA community are inspiring, and I am eager to contribute to our collective mission as “A movement for innovation where each learner’s experience is better tomorrow.”
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional leadership of Kathy Stetson, whom I will be succeeding. Kathy’s vision, dedication, and tireless efforts have played a pivotal role in shaping CEESA into the esteemed organization it is today, and I am honored to build upon her legacy and continue the remarkable work that she has done.
As we look to the future, I am committed to advancing CEESA’s strategic goals and ensuring that our association remains at the forefront of educational innovation and excellence. Our strategic plan provides a roadmap for achieving these objectives, and I am excited to collaborate with all of you to bring our shared vision of fostering excellence and collaboration in international education to fruition. Together, we will strive to create opportunities for professional growth, support the diverse needs of our member schools, and inspire positive change in the lives of students and educators across the region, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous learning within the CEESA community.
I am deeply grateful for the warm welcome and support that I have already received, and I look forward to getting to know each of you better in the coming months. Together, we will embark on an exciting journey of exploration, growth, and achievement.
I am excited to work alongside you as we chart the course for the future of CEESA and our schools.
Warm regards,
Dr. Robert Sims
