AISV Elementary students are “mad” about Music, Art, Dance and Drama

Our Elementary School celebrated the arts with Music, Art, Dance, and Drama this week. The objective is to engage and collaborate in a week-long community event that inspires creativity and a life-long appreciation of the arts and culture. We are especially excited to involve our German language team this year, making connections to our host culture through classroom activities and performances by Austrian musicians continuing into the final weeks of the school year.

Students and staff engaged in special workshops, performances, and visits from guest artists, with each grade level participating through its own schedule for the week, including choice workshops run by teachers and selected by students based on interest. Some of the highlights included workshops on Latin Drumming, Reader’s Theater, and Design.
