This project was part of the first PYP unit “Who we are”. After learning Happy Birthday in many different languages and learning about various traditional percussion instruments from different countries, we ended the unit with the United Nations’ song “Hello to all the children of the World”. Singing in many different languages makes us understand ourselves and others and helps us grow. We need to respect our differences and embrace the diversity around us.
